You see us as a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal.

Sad news that legendary 80's director John Hughes has died at age 59 over the weekend.

The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Uncle buck are some of my faves of his. But for out-of-control teen hormone driven hilarity, Weird Science ranks in my top ten movies of all time.

By far my favorite is "16 Candles". I swear that was my life on the screen-- only I never got Jake Ryan.

oh noes!!!!!! well, thats sad. he directed my favourite movie of all time, THE BREAKFAST CLUB. no movie can beat it - loved 16 candles as well, but adored tbc. I think I could recite every line from that movie.
all i can say is, John Hughes, "does barry manilow know you raided his wardrobe?"
