My favourite Kiwi songsters are calling it quits. No, not Tim and Neil Finn - the Flight of the Conchords.Mx news reports that after the pair finish filming the second series of the HBO TV Show (shown late night here on Channel Ten) they will go their separate ways.
Apparently Bret McKenzie (left) and Jemain Clemment are keen to break into other areas of the entertainment industry, including acting.
Clemment recently landed a lead role in the US production "Gentleman Broncos" and McKenzie had a few auditions for a role in "Justice League of America".
McKenzie is also keen to try script writing and further his song writing talents.
It'll be a sad, sad day when this duo breaks up. They have written some extremely funny songs, and are actually quite pleasant to look at on the TV screen.
I suppose it's always good to go out on a high.
